In the center of the plot – the story of the famous specialist in occult sciences and archaeologist Dr. Indiana Jones. On the instructions of the US government, he will go in search of a mysterious artifact – the sacred Ark. Gradually, Indiana realizes that not only he is following the trail of the relic, but also the fascists, who want to get it into their own hands as soon as possible. Indiana Jones: Raiders of the Lost Ark is the first of four feature films to hit screens between 1981 and 2008. George Lucas came up with the idea to make an adventure film in the style of TV series of the 30s of the XX century, and he then shared it with Steven Spielberg. Friends for several months pounded the doorsteps of various Hollywood studios, but they refused them funding, fearing that Spielberg’s new film would fail at the box office, like his previous work – the satirical comedy “1941”. “Indiana Jones” could not have taken place at all, but by the will of fate, the audience liked the first picture of the film series.

Benjamin Gates, involved in the search for the treasures of the founding fathers of the United States, over the years hopes to uncover the centuries-old secret that his grandfather told him about. Another clue leads him to one of the main American relics – the original of the Declaration of Independence, on the back of which, as legend says, is hidden a map indicating the location of the priceless treasure. However, if Ben seeks to solve the riddle for the sake of society, then his former colleague – Ian Shoo – simply wants to get his hands on the treasure. “National Treasure” was the first film in the dilogy starring Nicolas Cage. Since the release in 2007 of the second part of the story – “National Treasure: Book of Secrets” – viewers have been expecting its sequel, but after ten years the studio “Disney” has not given the go-ahead for filming.

The continuation of the story – “The Mummy Returns” – was released in 2001, then, seven years later, the premiere of the third part of the film series – “The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor” took place.
